I'm trying to watch Battle Royale right now, actually, but I have to say that I'm not enjoying it nearly as much as I liked the book. Which is ironic because I only read the book knowing that sooner or later I was going to be forced to watch the movie and I thought it wouldn't be as disturbing if I read it first. The kid playing Shuya looks a lot like Ohno, so that is weirding me out a little.
The tattoo looks a lot better, although there's one spot on the blue star I'm worried lost too much of its colored ink, and the yellow one still looks pretty awful. I'm hoping it'll even out after a few more days, but if not I'll go back sometime next week and have the guy take another look at it. Some other spots I thought looked bad are starting to look okay, so I'm trying not to worry about it or pick at it too much. Waiting, I'm not that good at it.
...says the girl who thinks it's an awesome idea to start dating somebody across the country. OOPS. good thing it has been a pretty awesome idea so far. Awesome enough that she doesn't call me a weirdo when I announce that I want to imitate this photoshoot (which is the most adorable and comfy-looking Yokoo/Taipi in the whole world). I can't even imagine trying to explain that to somebody else.
well I can imagine it, actually. It's just not very pretty and gets 500% awkward after not even half of the explanation. It certainly doesn't end with them wanting to write porn with me. It still feels a little crazy, all of it. Does that wear off? I'm not sure I want it to, honestly.
Apparently PA will be able to see some Aurora Borealis tonight, of all crazy things, so as soon as this travesty of a movie is over I'm going to go outside and see if i can find a dark-ish spot to try and see that action.
