Random PS2 Question

How many saved games can fit onto a 8MB memory card? Cause it gives me about a million slots to save KH2 (i played just up to the first save) but will only actually let me save on the very first one.

The only other thing I've ever played is KH1, and we have two games saved on that. *confused*

Off to work and then math class. baaaaaah.
